Monarch 1131 – Model Options

The Monarch 1131 series is a one line series printing in 8 positions across. There are minor differences between the different the lines within the Monarch 1131 family.

Monarch 1131 pricing guns come in three different printing configurations and have the ability to print time, date and units of measure. All Monarch 1131 pricing guns use the same labels and have the same outer appearance.

Model 1131 - Basics

The Monarch 1131 is a one line pricing gun. The labels therefore have a top line that is customizable or preprinted and a bottom line for pricing.

The Monarch 1131 price marking label gun is a basic, small, easy to use price marking gun that has proven to be tough and longstanding The Monarch 1131 labels are great for clear pricing for indoor and outdoor products.

The amazing open loading system of the Monarch 1130 series in general, prevents loose labels from falling into the insides of the gun, as well as ensuring smooth operations and easy to load and remove labels. 

 

The labels for the Monarch 1131 are available in 15 different colors, as well as various different stock prints, including “FROZEN”, “SELL BY” and “USE BY”. As mentioned above, the top line may also be used for custom print.

The Monarch 1131 prints 8 digits on a 3/4” wide X 7/16” tall label, also known as the A0022. They are available with or without security slits. If not specified, the labels will have slits and general adhesive. The labels are available with removable adhesive, upon request.

Custom Labels have special text that you specify to be preprinted on your label. You can write your store name or a phone number, or anything you want. You can have this text printed on a variety of backgrounds.

Labels come 8 rolls per box, each roll contains 2,500 labels and there are 8 boxes per case. This means that a case includes a total of 160,000 labels which is divided into 64 rolls. Boxes may be referred to as sleeves or packages, rolls are used to refill the actual pricing gun.

Ink rollers for the guns are also replaceable; one is usually included when purchasing a gun and always with a sleeve of labels

Monarch 1131 guns are plastic and lightweight, perfect for labeling throughout the store.

If necessary, they can usually be repaired while walking through the issues with a customer service representative over the phone.

The Monarch 1131 is made in the US and has a one year warranty.

The Monarch 1131-01 price marking label gun

The first three bands on the 1131-01, each contain all the numbers (0-9), dollar signs ($), “FOR” and slashes (/), making this gun ideal for anyone wishing to be detail oriented in their price marking chores. The next two bands after the month band, each all the digits (0-9), along with a decimal (.), a slash (/) and a dash (-).The next two bands print the same size numbers (0-9), and also include “+TX” and cents signs (¢). The sixth band has the word “EACH”, whereas the seventh band features the word “OFF”, but they are otherwise the same. The last band is a “unit of measure” band, meaning that it can print words like “PKG”, “BOX”, “PAIR”, etc. This band also includes other pricing words, such as “+TX” and “OFF”.

The Monarch 1131-02 price marking label gun

 Many guns feature just the month, but the Monarch 1131-02 features date, month and time printing abilities, making it perfect for anyone wishing to mark dates or time on their products or inventory.

The first band has each month (“JAN”, “FEB”, etc.) as well as “+TX”. The second, third, fifth and sixth bands contain all the numbers (0-9), dollar signs ($), “FOR” and slashes (/). The fourth band boasts years, “2008”, for example, along with “AM” and “PM” with a dollar sign ($) as well. The last two bands feature raised and underlined numbers to differentiate between dollars and cents. These bands also include “+TX” and cents signs (¢). The second to last band has the word “EACH”, whereas the last band features the word “OFF”, but they are otherwise the same.

The Monarch 1131-03 price marking label gun

This gun is ideal for anyone wishing to be detail oriented in their price marking chores because the first 5 bands feature full sized digits (0-9), dollar signs ($), “FOR” and slashes (/). The next two bands print slightly smaller, raised and underlined numbers to differentiate between dollars and cents. These bands also include “+TX” and cents signs (¢). The sixth band has the word “EACH”, whereas the seventh band features the word “OFF”, but they are otherwise the same. The last band is full of item measurements, like “LB.” and “FOOT”, as well as other pricing related words, such as “+TX” and “OFF”.

The Monarch 1131-04 price marking label gun

 The Monarch 1131-04 Price Marking Gun is utilized for month and time stamps. Featuring the first band with all the months (“JAN”, “FEB”, etc.) as well as “+TX”, and the last four bands with smaller digits (0-9), “AM”, “PM” and double dots (:) for appropriate time marking. The first two bands after the month band, each have larger numbers (0-9), along with a decimal (.), a slash (/) and a dash (-). The fourth band has the smaller digits, which are about half the size of those on the previous two bands, but the same size as on the following four bands. The numbers on this band are 1-12. Also included on the fourth band is a dollar sign ($), so that the 1131-04 can also be used to price a product.

The Monarch 1131-09 price marking label gun

The Monarch 1131-09 price marking gun is very simple printing price gun ideal for someone wishing to print simple prices with dollars and cents, and measurements as well.

The first five of the bands on the 1131-09 contain all the numbers (0-9), dollar signs ($), “FOR” and slashes (/), making this gun ideal for anyone wishing to be detail oriented in their price marking chores. The next two bands also feature all the numbers, but in a smaller print, about half the size as on the previous bands. The smaller numbers represent cents. These bands also include cents signs (¢), dashes (-) and decimals (.). The last band is completely different than the rest of them. This band prints quantities, such as “CASE”, “DOZ”, and “EACH”, as well as regular pricing words, including “+TX” and “OFF”.
