Monarch 1135 – Model Options

Monarch 1135 pricing guns can print 12 characters on two lines, 6 characters on each. Monarch 1135 pricing guns come in two different models, one being able to print dates and the other for use in sales or promotions. Both Monarch 1135 pricing gun models use the same price marking labels and have the same outer appearance.

Monarch 1135 - Basics

The Monarch 1135 is a two line pricing gun. The labels therefore have a top line that can be used for pricing, a middle line that is customizable or preprinted and a bottom line for pricing.

The Monarch 1135 is a simple gun, keeping things easy to use for both the workers and the customers. The Monarch 1135 labels are great for clear pricing for indoor and outdoor products.

The labels for the Monarch 1135 are available in 15 different colors, as well as various different stock prints. As mentioned above, the middle line may also be used for custom print.

Custom Labels have special text that you specify to be preprinted on your label. You can write your store name or a phone number, or anything you want. You can have this text printed on a variety of backgrounds.

Labels come 10 rolls per box, each box contains 17,000 labels and there are 8 boxes per case. This means that a case includes a total of 136,000 labels which is divided into 80 rolls. Boxes may be referred to as sleeves or packages, rolls are used to refill the actual pricing gun.

The labels for the Monarch 1135 are 0.647" x 0.624" or the equivalent of 5/8" (16mm) wide x 21/32" (17mm) tall each. This label size is also known as the A0023. They are available with or without tamper proof slits. If not requested specifically, all labels are produced with slits, as well as general adhesive. 

Ink rollers for the guns are also replaceable; one is usually included when purchasing a gun and always with a sleeve of labels.

Monarch 1135 guns are plastic and lightweight, perfect for labeling throughout the store.

If necessary, they can usually be repaired while walking through the issues with a customer service representative over the phone.

The Monarch 1135 is made in the US and has a one year warranty.

The Monarch 1135-01 Price Marking Gun

The Monarch 1135-01 Price Marking Gun features comparison options. By utilizing the top and bottom printing areas, it is easy to let customers know what a great deal they are getting.  

                                      Top Line Features:

On the top line, the first four bands are identical, each including a decimal point (.), all the numbers (0-9), a dollar sign ($), “WAS”, “FOR”, a cent sign (¢), a slash (/) and a dash (-). The last two bands differ in that they have “1/2”, “EA”, “OFF” and “+TX” in place of the slash (/), dollar sign, “FOR”, “WAS” and dash (-). The bottom line also features six bands that each contains all the numbers (0-9). These numbers print larger than the top line to emphasize the “now” price.

Bottom Line Features:

The first two bottom bands have dollar signs ($) and the word “FOR”. The first band also has the option to print “NOW”, whereas the next three bands have slashes (/). The middle two bands feature decimals (.) and dashes (-) in place of the dollar signs ($) and “FOR”. The last two bands on the bottom include a “+TX” and cents sign option (¢). The difference between the last two bands is that the second to last band features the word “EACH” instead of the last band’s “OFF”. The extra words on both the top and bottom bands are amazing assets in conveying your great deal to the potential customer.

The Monarch 1135-02 Price Marking Gun

This pricing gun is ideal for anyone wishing to capture the attention of bargain hunters, advertising sale prices better and organizing original prices versus selling price in a clear manner.

                                  Top Line Features:

The Monarch 1135-02 Price Marking Gun features a first top band with all twelve months, a dollar sign ($) and a pound sign (£) The option of printing the months is significant when marking a sale item to show that it is a new clearance item. The next three bands are identical, containing decimal points (.), all nine numbers (0-9), “FOR”, “WAS”, a cents sign (¢), a slash (/) and a dash (-). The last two bands on this top line also contain the numbers 0-9 but these are slightly smaller with an underscore to reference cents. What is unique to these last bands is that they include ½ stamps as well as the usual features: cent signs (¢), slashes (/), “OFF”, floating decimals (·), “+TX” and decimal points. (.)

     Bottom Line Features:

The number display on the bottom line is similar to the top, in that each band contains all the digits (0-9), with that the last two band’s numbers underlined to indicate cents. The first three bands have dollar signs ($) and the word “FOR”. The first line boasts a “NOW” option, which is crucial to catching the customers eye and having him/her grab your product. The next three lines contain a slash (/), in place of that “NOW”. Also instead of “FOR” and a dollar sign ($), the fourth band can print a dash (-) and a decimal point (.). The last two bands have all the numbers, as mentioned earlier. These bands also allow for a “+TX” and a cent sign (¢). The fifth band differs from the last in that it features the word “EACH” as opposed to the word “OFF” which is found on the last band.
