Monarch 1115 - Basics



The Monarch 1115 is a two line pricing gun. The labels therefore have a top line for pricing, a customizable or preprinted middle line and a bottom line for additional pricing.

The Monarch 1115 boasts an almost endless amount of usage options. Being that it is a two line pricing gun; the labels can carry more information. The Monarch 1115 labels are great for comparing prices, labeling outdoor products, keeping track of shelf dates, SKU codes and quite a bit more.

The labels for the Monarch 1115 are available in 15 different colors, as well as various different stock prints, including “sale”, “clearance” and “special”. As mentioned above, the middle line may also be used for custom print.

Labels typically come 10 rolls per box, each box contains 15,000 labels and there are 16 boxes per case. This means that a case includes a total of 240,000 labels which is divided into 160 rolls. Boxes may be referred to as sleeves or packages, rolls are used to refill the actual pricing gun.






 Ink rollers for the guns are also replaceable; one is usually included when purchasing a gun and always with a sleeve of labels. Monarch 1115 guns can usually be repaired while walking through the issues with a customer service representative over the phone. 


The Monarch 1115 is made in the US and has a one year warranty.
It is plastic and lightweight, perfect for labeling throughout the store.

Monarch 1115 – Model Options

Monarch 1115 pricing guns print up to 16 characters on two lines. The 1115 labeler is available in 5 different band configurations. All of the Monarch 1115 pricing gun models use the same price labels and have the same outer appearance. Beyond the standard models, there is always the option of further customizing the bands to better suit individual needs. The Monarch 1115 is available in a number of different models:

The Monarch 1115-01 date time stamp price marking gun

The Monarch 1115-01 date time stamp price marking gun is unique within the Monarch 1115 price marking gun line. All 1115 price marking guns are two liners and there are slight differences between bands between the lines. The price marking on labels with the Monarch 1115 date time stamp label gun is as follows: The top band prints in 7 positions across including months as the first band, large numbers along with various symbols on the middle five bands and the last band that is made up of various terms of quantity. These terms include “DOZ.”, “EACH”, “LB.” “OZ.”, etc. The 5 bottom band prints basic numbers, dollar and cents signs in their respective positions; the dollar signs in the first two bands and the cents in the last two, with a decimal in the middle one.

The Monarch 1115-01 date time stamp price marking label gun is ideal for those in any business which relies on knowing the dates of inventory and products. This band model is perfect for perishable goods and sale items.

The Monarch 1115-02 price marking gun

The Monarch 1115-02 price marking gun is one of the simplest functioning two line price marking guns. It prints in 7 positions across the top band and 6 on the bottom. The top and bottom lines both feature full sized numbers and can be used for both serial numbers, reference and or regular pricing methods. The middle band on the bottom line contains numbers with the decimal preceding it (“.8”). The top line’s last five bands offer decimals and dashes. The bottom line’s last band features quantity descriptions and makes the 1115-02 price marking gun one of the industries best.

The Monarch 1115-04 price marking gun


The Monarch 1115-04 price marking gun differs in subtle ways from other 1115 models. It prints in 8 positions across both the top and bottom lines. The top line’s print is smaller than the bottom which would lend itself to serial numbers, but can be used for pricing as well. The monarch 1115-04 price marking guns feature raised and underlined numbers on the bottom bands. The first six bands for the bottom line include dollar signs ($) as well as full sized numbers and “FOR”, whereas the last two feature underscored numbers as well as cents signs and “E.A.” The top line’s bands are also split, between dollar and cents. Although, the split is five and three differing from the bottom’s six and two. The top line also differs in that back slashes and dashes come standard in place of “E.A.” and “FOR”.

The Monarch 1115-05 price marking gun

The Monarch 1115-05 price marking gun is a two line gun that prints in 7 positions across the top and bottom. What sets this label gun apart from the other label guns with the Monarch 1115 family is that the top line uses PATHFINDER coding to print the last 4 bands on the top line. The first band on the top line prints numbers 1-12 as apposed to the usual 0-9. The second two bands are the standard 0-9 with a dollar sign and “FOR”. The bottom band prints large numbers, with the last two being raised and underlined. The last band of the bottom prints popular item descriptions like “DOZ.”, “EACH”, “LB.” “OZ.”, etc.

The Monarch 1115-06 price marking gun

The Monarch 1115-06 is one of the most basic and easy to use 2 line pricing guns available. It prints in 7 positions across the top and bottom utilizing basic numbers on both the top and bottom. Although it does not feature pricing symbols, the top line’s bands all offer decimals and dashes, something that is exclusive to the 1115-06. The bottom line of this price marking gun is quite similar to the 1115-05, in that it has the last two digits raised and underlined as well as the item band which describes the items being marked as “DOZ.”, “EACH”, “LB.” “OZ.”, etc., which is similar to the 1115-02’s last bottom band as well.

The Monarch 1115-72 price marking gun

The Monarch 1115-72 price marking gun is ideal for anyone wishing to print loads of numeric information on their price labels. The top and bottom lines are nearly identical. Both the top and bottom lines of the Monarch 1115-72 price marking gun print in 8 positions across featuring larger numbers, excluding the last two digits which are raised and underlined. The top line features decimal points and dashes on the middle bands for easier pricing. Besides for this difference both bands are similar, and feature dollars and cents signs as well as large easy to read numbers.

The Monarch 1115-73 price marking gun

 The Monarch 1115-73 price marking gun is also easy to use and similar to many of the others within this line of price marking guns. The Monarch 1115-06 label gun prints in 7 positions across the top and bottom. All of the numbers are full sized, the first three bands of the top line feature dollars signs ($) and “FOR” while the last four bands feature decimal signs and dashes - ideal for printing dates this price marking gun also features a cents sign, in place of a decimal, on the last band. The bottom line is similar in that the first four bands feature dollars signs ($) and “FOR”, while the last bands feature decimals and cents signs.
