The Monarch 1136-01 price marking label gun
The Monarch 1136-01 is great for combined coding and pricing on one label. It can also be used for comparison pricing, such as “WAS” and “NOW” or “EACH” and “CASE”. The top line features small characters with the digits 0-9 on all the bands. The first six bands are identical with decimals (.), dashes (-), dollar signs ($), slashes (/), and cents signs (¢), along with the wording “FOR” and “WAS” options. The last two bands differ in that they do not include dollar signs ($), slashes (/) nor dashes (-). Instead, these bands offer “+TX”, “½” “EA”, “OFF” and floating decimals (·). The bottom band has larger characters as well as a last band featuring units of measure. Aside from that last band, all other bottom bands include all the numbers (0-9). The first three bottom bands feature dollar signs ($) and the word “FOR”. The very first band has the word “NOW”, whereas the next two contain slashes (/). The following two bands have slashes (/) as well and also include dashes (-) and decimals (.). The next pair of bands feature cents signs (¢) and the “+TX” option. The third to last band has the word “EACH”, while the second to last contains the word “OFF” in its place. As mentioned earlier, the last band on the bottom is a unit of measure band; it therefore contains words such as “LB.” and “BOX”.
The Monarch 1136-02 price marking label gun
The Monarch Model 1136-02 is perfect for date and time coding. Both the top and bottom lines are capable of printing in 8 positions. The first band on the top line has features the months (JAN, FEB, MAR, etc.) as well as a dollar ($) and pound sign (£). The middle six bands all include decimal points (.) and the numbers (0-9). For the remaining print options, these bands are split into two groups. The first group consists of the second through fifth band, while the second group is made up of the sixth and seventh bands. The first middle group offers a dollar sign ($), “FOR”, “WAS”, a cent sign (¢), a slash (/) and a dash (-). The second middle group features a “+TX”, floating decimal (·), “OFF”, “EA”, “½” and a cent sign (¢). The last band on the top line is known as a unit of measure band because it contains abbreviations like “LB” and “CS”, to symbolize pounds and case. The bottom line’s first band is similar to the top line with the abbreviated months, but the bottom does not offer a dollar and pound sign as it does on top, instead there is a “+TX”. The next two bands as well as the fifth and sixth band are identical. These bands feature the numbers, 0-9, a dollar sign ($), the word “FOR” and a slash (/). The band in between them, band #4, has the option of printing the year (2008 - 2016), “AM” or “PM” as well as a dollar sign ($). The last two bottom bands include underscored numbers 0-9, to indicate cents. These bands also feature “+TX” and a cents sign (¢). The second to last band has the word “EACH”, while the last band has the word “OFF”, otherwise these bands are exactly the same.
The Monarch 1136-03 price marking label gun
The Monarch 1136-03 has the capability to print full alphanumeric on the top band in all eight positions. The bottom line also has eight positions, the first seven are numeric and the last is a unit of measure band. While all seven first bands are numeric, they each boast different symbols and wording to print as well. The first three bottom bands print the word “FOR”, along with a dollar sign ($). But only the first band can print the word “NOW”. In place of “NOW” the next two bands offer a slash (/). This slash (/) option continues for the next two bands. These bands contain a dash (-) and a decimal (.), as their unique features. The last pair can stamp “+TX” and a cents sign (¢). The last feature on the bands is the difference between the two and that is that the first of the pair prints “EACH”, while the second prints “OFF”. The last band is a unit of measure band as mentioned before. It can print words like “SET” and “BOX’, and is helpful in letting the customer exactly what they are paying for which quantity.
The Monarch 1136-04 price marking label gun
The Monarch 1136-04 was designed primarily for date coding, in that it prints in a total of 16 positions (top and bottom together) with time and month options on each line.
The first band on the top line is the typical month band for the top, meaning that it contains each month, abbreviated (“JAN”, “FEB”, etc.), as well as a dollar ($) and pound (£) sign. The next two bands are basic pricing bands which feature decimal points (.), the numbers 0-9, dollar ($) and cents (¢) signs along with a slash (/), dash (-), “FOR” and “WAS”. The fourth band is unique, boasting a “10”, “11”, “12”, “13” and “14”. It also includes the previous numbers, excluding “0”. Following the numbers there is a dollar sign ($), slash (/) and “FOR”. The last four bands are time bands. Therefore, they can each print a decimal point (.), all single digits (0-9), “AM”, “PM” a colon (:), a cent sign (¢), a dollar sign ($) and a dash (-).
The bottom bands also begin with a month band. Bottom month bands typically consist of the abbreviated month followed by a “+TX” stamp. The months print the same as on the top band, but slightly larger being that it is to appear on the bottom of the label. The next two bands are again, coordinating with their top counterparts. They feature a decimal (.), the numbers 0-9 along a slash (/) and dash (-) on each band. The fourth band boasts 1-12 and a dollar sign ($), while the last four bands are time bands as featured on the top line. Being that the band size is smaller on the bottom, these last four bands do not include the extra pricing symbols that are found on the coordinating top bands.
