The XL Pro 18B is a one line pricing gun. The labels therefore have a top line that is customizable or preprinted and a bottom line for that is used for pricing.

XL PRO 2 – Basics
The XL Pro 2 is a two line numeric pricing gun. This gun prints six characters on the bottom line and eight on the top.
The XL Pro2 price marking label gun is a basic, easy to use price marking gun that has proven to be tough and longstanding The XL PRO 2 labels are great for clear pricing for indoor and outdoor products. With the standard XL Pro five year warranty, the 2 is guaranteed to last.
The amazing open loading system of the XL labelers in general, prevents loose labels from falling into the insides of the gun, as well as ensuring smooth operations and easy to load and remove labels. The XL Pro guns also feature print adjustment not found on other guns.
IMS-2/XLP-2/T5600/TOWA2 Labels
The IMS-2/XLP-2/T5600/TOWA 2 labels are used in the XL2 and Towa 2.
The labels for the XL 2, and Towa 2 are available in 25 different colors, as well as various different stock prints, including “FROZEN”, “SELL BY” and “USE BY”. The top area is available for preprinting or custom imprinting.
These labels can contain 6 digits printed, on a 3/4" wide x 21/32" tall label, also known as the IMS-2/XLP-2/T5600/TOWA2.
The IMS-2/XLP-2/T5600/TOWA2 labels are available with or without security slits. The security slits on the IMS-2/XLP-2/T5600/TOWA2 are in the form of vertical parallel lines across the label. If not specified, the labels will have slits and general adhesive. The labels are available with removable adhesive, upon request. The labels have straight edges and do not feature flaps on either side.
Labels come 16 rolls per box, each roll contains 750 labels and there are 15 boxes per case. This means that a case includes a total of 180,000 labels which is divided into 240 rolls. Boxes may be referred to as sleeves or packages, rolls are used to refill the actual pricing gun.
Ink rollers for the guns are also replaceable; one is usually included when purchasing a gun and always with a sleeve of labels.
XL Pro guns are plastic and lightweight, perfect for labeling throughout the store. Towa guns are extremely durable as they are the only metal pricing gun around.
If necessary, they can usually be repaired while walking through the issues with a customer service representative over the phone.
The XL Pro guns have a five year warranty.
The Towa guns are imported and may take longer to ship if on backorder.
XL PRO 2 – Band Setup
The XL Pro 2 has two standard band set-ups.
XL Pro 2 A
The standard band set up for the XL Pro 2-A has six bands on the bottom and eight on the top.
On the top line, all the bands are the same, aside from the sixth. They each contain 0-9, a dollar sign ($), a dash (-) and a slash (/). The sixth band features a decimal (.) in place of the dollar sign.
All the bottom bands contain the numbers 0-9, but aside from that each is a bit different than the next. The first two bands boast a dollar sign ($), “FOR” and a decimal (.). The third band has a slash (/) in place of the dollar sign. Instead of the “FOR”, the next band can print a dash (-). On the fourth band, each character prints with a decimal next to it. The last two bands are similar with cents sign (¢) as their special feature. The fifth band has “+TX”, whereas the last band has “EA”, but they are otherwise the same.
